Well, I'm afraid that happened ? Controlling Garritan CFX through N1X's keyboard is such a rewarding experience! It's definitely better than controlling it through the Cybrid. However I have another issue now As I've said many times, I haven't tested the N1X controlling the Garritan CFX, entirely out of fear that I may like it more than the N1X's own CFX. GarageBand which is optimized for M1 would make any difference or the CFX AU plugin still needs to be recompiled.) I'm wondering if the AU plugins when loaded by a proper host (e.g.

In any case I think Garritan should update the Aria player and the plugins. It's now much smoother with buffer size of 64 (this is the N1X audio interface BTW, not the Mac one, not sure if it should make any difference) but there were still occasional glitches but say only once a minute. I decided to try once again on the Air M1 with all applications closed and only CFX running (and I had Viber, Skype, Facebook Messenger, Mail, Calendar, Notes, Reminders, Messages. Other than that, the MacBook Air is so fast! It definitely feels faster than my company MacBook Pro 15" (2016) with 2.7GHz Quad-Core Intel i7.

Garritan CFX Full - Apple M1 - Test (WAV) Luckily those didn't appear at the exported file: Nevertheless, I kept it at 32 and recorded a short excerpt in WAV file while coping with the occasional cracks. So, I guess Garritan will have to recompile their Aria engine for the M1 Well, unfortunately while it works, there are some cracks at the lowest buffer size of 32 and they gradually disappear at a buffer size of 512 but the latter is where a slight latency is already felt and is unusable. Then I hooked it to the N1X as both a MIDI controller and audio interface. I then deleted the unneeded perspectives and kept only the Classic one, also patched it with my repealing fix. It then started without problems and all seemed to be working OK. I downloaded the latest Garritan CFX Full installation file from Garritan's website. OK, so here's my report with the Garritan CFX.
